This Is Your Party
The Democrats are the oldest continuously operating political party in the world.
Caswell Democrats are the official local organization of the North Carolina Democratic Party, comprised of registered Democratic voters living in beautiful, historic Caswell County.
We organize and vote for Democratic priorities in our communities, county, and state, with the primary goal of electing Democrats up and down the ballot – from municipal offices to the White House.
We believe that those Democratic ideals are born of a comprehensive commitment to pluralism, competence, and the promise of good governance — all of which require kindness, compassion, honesty, and hard work.
While “kitchen table issues” are always important, we believe that good governance begins with care and concern for the community members gathered around those tables, and is achieved through competent stewardship grounded in well-reasoned principles.
Democratic priorities derive from our support for policies and practices that keep every kitchen well-stocked and ensure that all people have a warm and welcome seat at every table.
